Ralph Sacramone has served as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC), for the past 19 years, where he is responsible for regulating the state’s $3 billion alcoholic beverages industry and over 51,000 licenses and permits.  Ralph directs the ABCC’s day-to-day operations, including its Administrative Division, Licensing Division, and Enforcement Division, and lends his expertise to state legislators, legislative committee chairmen, and staff on proposed legislation involving retail, wholesale, and supplier businesses.  He works with other agencies to facilitate the legislative mandate of the ABCC, including with the Department of Revenue, Department of Unemployment Assistance, Department of Public Health, Department of Agriculture, Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, and the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.  He is the ABCC’s liaison to the Massachusetts Alcohol Task Force, the Council on the Underground Economy and Employee Misclassification Task Force, and Youth Employment Safety Task Force.
