Gardy Desrouleaux is an experienced hospitality professional with over 15 years in the restaurant and food service industry. As the Owner and Managing Partner of Craft Food Halls, he has been fortunate to be part of a team that has grown the food hall concept to 13 locations. Gardy takes pride in the ability of these spaces to bring people together and support unrefined talent, believing that the heart of any successful business lies in its healthy community.
Gardy’s journey in hospitality began humbly, starting as a host at a well-regarded restaurant group. This early experience sparked a deep passion for the industry and a commitment to understanding every aspect of the business. Over the years, his hands-on work across various roles allowed him to learn from both successes and challenges. Under his leadership, Craft Food Halls received the 2024 Retailers Association of Massachusetts Award for Creative Concepts in Retailing, a recognition he credits to the focus and dedication of every team member.
Today, Gardy is focused on giving back to the industry that has shaped him. Through his work with Craft Food Halls and his involvement on several executive boards, he advocates for creating better working conditions, fostering financial literacy, and promoting open, honest communication in the service and hospitality industry. For Gardy, it’s all about building a supportive, respectful environment where everyone—team members and guests alike—can thrive.
